A1. Identifying Modes of Online Entertainment.

Indentifying Modes of Online Entertainment

Band Website

So, Basicaly I have given up on band websites. I personaly believe that Myspace was the most revolutionary social networking application for musicians and artsits. It gave a way for artists to connect with their fans. Not only that but it has now a full ecommerce capability where people can purchase songs in album or individualy. MYSPACE!!!

Movie Website

Since like the year 1995 almost all high budget movie websites are done in flash. Which is amazing! Flash gives the artist an approach to interactivity that is almost surreal. Check out http://www.coraline.com. Insane!

Animation Short

Flash animation shorts are an amazing way to take up time. There is almost an infinite ammount of shorts created in flash. One of my favorites is happy treefriends, a mondo media production. Check them out at http://happytreefriends.atomfilms.com/index.html

Cross Media Promotion

Yo so the DSI just came out and wow. This little piece of hardware is changing gaming as we speak. It has a built in camera, wifi capabilities, dual screens, and a touch screen with a stylus. You can communicate between two dsi's at once and it has a built in mic. INSANE.

MMOG

Dizzywood is an awesome MMO for kids. You can explore mayan ruins, shop for clothes, hang and chat with your friends. Its awesome!

Webisodic

Epic FU on revision3 is awesome. I always watch this show. Its a mash up of current events, new tech, and trends in the tech community. Definitely worth watching.

Blog or Vlog

Envato is possibly one of the best creative directories on the web. They have blogs covering everything from web development to illustration techniques. A must have in your bookmarks.
